About the author
William Zoltán Apró (Bill Apró) is a former Australian Federal Police Intelligence Officer and one of the earliest pioneers in cybercrime investigation and computer forensics. In 1990 he led the arrest of Phoenix using techniques decades ahead of their time.
He is also the author of the children's book The Computer Ghost and Hotel California: The Lovely Face. He divides his time between Vasad, Hungary, and the rest of the world. HACKERS is published by Pro Platinum Press®.

William Zoltán Apró (Bill Apró) ist ein ehemaliger Geheimdienstoffizier der Australischen Bundespolizei und einer der frühesten Pioniere der Cyberkriminalitäts-Ermittlung und Computerforensik. 1990 leitete er die Verhaftung von Phoenix mit Methoden, die ihrer Zeit um Jahrzehnte voraus waren.
